The name of the Governor of West Java Ridwan Kamil shot in the survey of candidates for vice president or vice president. This result has even made Kang Emil, as he is known, predicted to be the running mate for Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo in the 2024 presidential election.
Launching Warta Ekonomi.co.id -- Suara.com network, the survey was conducted by Poltracking which was held on August 1-7 2022. As a result, Ridwan Kamil's name stuck in the first rank as the vice presidential candidate with the highest electability.
Not only the name Ridwan Kamil, the figure of Ganjar Pranowo is also at the top regarding the choice of a presidential candidate or candidate for president. This survey uses a stratified multistage random sampling method.
The Executive Director of Poltracking Indonesia, Hanta Yuda AR explained that the number of samples in the survey was 1,220 respondents. The survey has a margin of error of approximately 2.9 percent at a 95 percent confidence level.
"This survey cluster reaches 34 provinces throughout Indonesia proportionally. Based on the latest voter population data with the proportion of voter gender," said Hanta in a press release, Wednesday (31/8/2022).
Of the ten names submitted, the four most powerful cawapres were chosen by the public. They are Ridwan Kamil who got 12.6 percent electability, Sandiaga Salahudin Uno 11.9 percent, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono 11.7 percent and Erick Thohir 10.8 percent.
In addition, there are four vice presidential candidates from political parties who are the people's choice. The four are Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono at 11.7 percent, Puan Maharani at 6.5 percent, Muhaimin Iskandar at 2.7 percent and Airlangga Hartanto (1.7 percent.
Meanwhile, in the 2024 presidential election, Ridwan Kamil's name stands out with 3.9 percent. He beat Erick Thohir 2.8 percent, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno 2.4 percent and Puan Maharani 2.2 percent.
Furthermore, Khofifah Indar Parawansa received 2.2 percent electability and Airlangga Hartarto 1.7 percent. Meanwhile, the name Ganjar Pranowo is in the top position of the 2024 presidential election by winning 26.6 percent.
