Jasa Marga Records 298,370 Vehicles Leaving Jabotabek During 3-Day Holiday

 PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk recorded 298,370 vehicles leaving the Jabotabek area on H-1 and Good Friday, which fell on Thursday-Friday (March 28-29, 2024).



"The figure is the cumulative traffic volume (lalin) from four Main Toll Gates (GT), namely GT Cikupa (to Merak), GT Ciawi (to Puncak), and GT Cikampek Utama (to Trans Java) and GT Kalihurip Utama (to Bandung). The total traffic volume leaving Jabotabek this time increased by 5.25 percent compared to normal traffic," said Jasa Marga's Corporate Communication & Community Development Group Head Lisye Octaviana in Jakarta, Saturday (30/3/2024).


The distribution of traffic leaving Jabotabek was dominated by 129,706 vehicles (43.47 percent) heading east (Trans Java and Bandung), 97,131 vehicles (32.55 percent) heading west (Merak), and 71,533 vehicles (23.97 percent) heading south (Puncak).


Traffic leaving Jabotabek for Trans Java via GT Cikampek Utama on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road, with a total of 60,370 vehicles, increased by 10.02 percent from normal traffic.


Meanwhile, traffic leaving Jabotabek for Bandung via GT Kalihurip Utama on the Cipularang Toll Road, with a total of 69,366 vehicles, increased by 7.40 percent from normal traffic.


The total traffic leaving Jabotabek for Trans Java and Bandung via the two GTs was 129,706 vehicles, an increase of 8.60 percent from normal traffic.


Traffic leaving Jabotabek for Merak via GT Cikupa on the Tangerang-Merak Toll Road was 97,131 vehicles, an increase of 3.10 percent from normal traffic.


Meanwhile, the number of vehicles leaving Jabotabek for Puncak via GT Ciawi on the Jagorawi Toll Road was 71,533 vehicles, an increase of 2.41 percent from normal traffic.


Jasa Marga urges road users to anticipate their trip before entering the toll road.


Make sure the vehicle and driver are in prime condition, ensure sufficient fuel and electronic money balance, and obey signs and instructions from officers.
