Latest Political Party Survey: Top PDIP, PPP Will Not Passing

PDIP is still at the top based on the results of the latest Poltracking Indonesia survey on the electability of political parties ahead of the 2024 presidential election. It is recorded that PDIP won 20.4 percent of electability.


The Executive Director of Poltracking Indonesia, Hanta Yuda, said that the PDIP in the survey exceeded 20 percent.


"First, PDI-P remains at the top with 20.4 percent, so it exceeds 20 percent, it's stable. PDI-P's gain is twice that of runner-up, Gerindra number two with 10.5 percent. Then the third is Golkar with 9.5 percent," said Hanta in his presentation in the Kuningan area, South Jakarta, Wednesday (31/8/2022).


Then below it is the Golkar Party and the Democrats mentioned in this survey whose electability rose by 8.6 percent, PKB with 8.0 percent, Nasdem Party 6.7 percent, PKS 5.2 percent, PAN 4.1 percent.


Meanwhile, PPP is threatened not to pass parliament. This is because in this survey, the electability is only 3.1 percent, and Perindo is the lowest at 1.9 percent.


"What I mentioned are the 10 largest parties in Indonesia currently based on a survey in August. The order is, PDI-P, Gerindra, Golkar, Democrat, PKB, Nasdem, PKS, PAN, PPP, and Perindo," he said.


To note, the survey was conducted from 1 to 7 August 2022 using the multistage random sampling method.


The number of samples in this survey is 1220 respondents with a margin of error of +/- 2.9 percent at the 95 percent confidence level.
